Investing in the Future
The Parkway Towers’ Board has a strategic and optimistic Five Year Plan in place to enhance the value of our property. Parkway Towers has a very active condo association with many members that are willing to participate and research what we need to do to improve to our building. One of the priority projects is rebuilding our curtain wall. It is currently sourcing multiple contractors to obtain the most economical price. In addition to the curtain wall, our plan will improve balcony doors and windows. These will be compatible both aesthetically and functionally with the curtain wall. With additional reserve funds we plan on updating the lobby level, specifically the entryway, hallways, kitchen, plus meeting and game rooms. We plan to fund all of these renovations by four different avenues: our current reserves, savings from increasing our HOA dues over the next five years, securing a loan from a commercial lender, and a small special assessment that would occur in 2019.
